Outfit: Summer Is Not Over Yet

My best friend was staying at El Conquistador Resort for her birthday weekend.  Her sister, my boyfriend and I went to visit on Saturday and had a blast.  I was having so much fun taking pictures with my Nikon, but I'm only publishing some of them as I took almost 140!  Last Sunday was my mommy's birthday and we had a delicious lunch menu at home:  bread, broccoli soup, salad, lobster and fried plantain.  Yes, my dad is a chef wannabe. 

Sunday night we had a tropical storm named Irene at Puerto Rico, I would like to say everything is back to normal, but she left a lot of rain behind and I'm out of power.  That's why I didn't post anything yesterday, but figured out how to post from my cell phone!

Roof Afternoon

I wanted to try my new camera, so I started at my house's roof & backyard with my bf and his chihuahua: Snoopy.  I forgot my earrings on the first shots and I was really mad about that, cause I would never leave my house without them.  It was really hot, so I finally felt the summer heat!  It was also windy, so there were a lot of messy hair pictures, but I loved them cause they seem so natural.  We discovered lots of mode features and took approximately 130 photos, so  I'm only sharing a few of them...

My New Toy

I'm officially a Nikon girl!

Well, I always was.  But my other Nikon wasn't as good as this one.  My brand new camera, the one I told you about last Friday, is finally mine since Monday.  Ever since I started my blog, almost three months ago, I've always wanted a greater camera, to make some higher quality shootings and post them here.  The wait is over.  This is not a pro camera, but has 14.1 megapixels and 21x zoom, so it will take better shots for sure.  I'm so in love<3  Can't wait for the weekend!
