So I'm back from my spectacular birthday weekend.  I have lots of pictures, but I'm starting with day #1: Vegas Friday at Work.  The girls surprised me with a Vegas theme birthday, a very cute cake and a gift card from SEPHORA!!!  Tomorrow I'm gonna show you everything from day #2: Color-Blocking Saturday Night Out!

DIY: The Blazer Trend

Are you too rushed after work to get ready for a party?  Pack a cuter top, some extra accessories, a mini-skirt and use the blazer-trend at your best convenience.  In this occasion I'm showing a very simple way to transform a work-blazer into a party-blazer with lace and pearls, for a classy/chic look.

1. change the classic work blouse for a lace, sequin or sexier top
2. leave the blazer open
3. put on extra accessories
4. place a brooch
5. fold the sleeves
6. use a colorful mini-skirt or skinny pants

Here are a some pictures from the weekend taken with my cell phone:

I had dinner with my boy (sushi), partied with some friends,
went shopping (where i discovered a MK store!)
and to the movies (The Rum Diary)!

 How was your weekend?
Love,
Teresa

Outfit: Nude Neutrals

Do you prefer pants or skirt for work?
I like pants. I feel like I would only use a skirt or dress at work because is a special occasion.  I found this cute and subtle dress the other day while shopping and automatically fell in love with the fabric and shape.  While trying it at the fitting room, I looked at myself in the mirror and realized it was made especially for me.  It fits my body perfectly and is so comfortable!

I bought it and then... then comes my other dilemma: I can't find the right occasion to wear it because is way too cute to use for just one normal/common day at work.  But then I changed my mind and wore it an average Friday and I finally realized another thing:  if you wear a special outfit on a normal day, then the day will no longer be normal... it will be outstanding because of how you feel in that special clothing.
