Second and last battle. Why? Because I cancelled Birchbox. Yeap, I did. The last two boxes didn't impressed me that much and I prefer My Glam. I also realized I was spending $20 each month for sample boxes = $240 per year = Michael Kors tote. Ha! Got me? Here's the last battle and Is pretty obvious who won it...

[ What's the deal with the Birchbox Gossip Girl promo? I bet that for those who like these series, the box was heaven-ish this month, but what does that have to do with the products inside? I don't watch it, so I don't get it. The My Glam make-up bag was cute. ]

[ My eyes are the main focus when I put make-up on. Eye-liner and mascara are my favorite parts and I love to try new colors and shapes. That's why I was more excited about the Birchbox highlight. On the other hand, the My Glam Redwood lipstick is GORGEOUS and good quality, so let's say this is a tie. See picture below of how they both look. ]

Is My Glam any cheaper than Birchbox by any chance? Just curious. The My Glam box looks cuter and has more brands I've actually heard of!

Hehehe...well as badly as I feel about writing in my post a few weeks ago that I discontinued my birchbox subscription...I can take comfort that others felt likewise. I think your myglam was better... Although..if you have time and check out my post today, Birchbox and Kerastase did sponsor a local event at a salon in chicago. That was a birchbox specifically for the event...it was good. Full sized kerastase serum? Sign me up!

I received my birchbox from may and I got different products that I actually liked. The samples for Kerastase were the best, the Stila eyeliner was good and the Miss Dior perfume sample was nice. I will receive my first glam bag on June so I can compare and decide which subscription to continue. Love your blog btw! Keep going....

ResponderBorrarOkay, I don't know if it is all the beauty products or the fact that this is such an awesome idea that I am really excited right now. Or is it because I'm lifted. Either way, I love both bags. I actually watch the show and I really love the high end products. However, you're rendition of it is super creative and lovely. In fact, I like the brushes in the My Glam more and fragrance. I love perfume.
