Entertainment Television.

The Body Shop Launch @ Puerto Rico

For the first time ever, The Body Shop, the original, natural, and ethical beauty brand with over 2,700 stores in 63 markets worldwide, made its debut in Sears department stores Puerto Rico on October 19, 2012.  The Body Shop launched four shop-in-shop stores within Sears, whose position as a premier beauty retailer in Puerto Rico made it the ideal partner for this exciting venture.  The first four locations will opened in Plaza las Americas, Mayaguez, Ponce and Hatillo.

I was invited to the official launch, but I was sick by then and couldn't attend.  That's why they sent me a box filled with some of their amazing products:

The Favorites:
[ feet peppermint treatment and almond scent cream for hands and body = heaven! ]

 The Unexpected:
[ I'm constantly trying new facial cleansers and lately I'm into herbal teas.
Can't wait to try these, because they seem refreshing and relaxing! ]

The versatile:
[ I don't use bath crystals, but these smell so good, I had to them somehow.
Air refreshers for my car and room!  I placed a little amount inside a fabric piece and close it with a ribbon!
(will show a tutorial later). ]

Love,
Teresa

[ Ps. I hope any follower from the East Coast is fine after Hurricane Sandy.. xx ]

Youth H2O: Another beauty product you should have!

About two weeks ago I finished trying the new Age Defying Energy Shot: Youth H2O.  They sent me a box before the official launch so I could try it first and be sponsored by them.  This product launched on September 5th and it's a new alternative to look and feel younger. This is a daily caffeine free drink made with organic super-foods that adapts to your body's needs.

Today I'm sharing my experience with this drink by
letting you guys know the pros and cons I found while trying it!

Pros:
- The bottle size is cute and perfect to carry anywhere.

- I suffer from migraine and while I was drinking Youth H2O, I had none!

- More energy during the day.

- Helped me focus and concentrate.

- Actually, my face looked rested and brighter.

Cons:
  - The after-taste isn't delicious, but it is okay to drink very cold with some ice or mixed with some juice.
- Maybe it has nothing to do with the product, but I felt very hungry after drinking it.

- Heavy on an empty stomach, so accompany it with some snack or lunch.

Being Fashion While Saving The Planet

Meet my very first & fabulous sponsor: Evolve45

When we carry a gorgeous bag, we feel like super women... that feeling gets more realistic carrying an Evolve45 bag, cause you will be saving the planet!

                        What is Evolve45?
Featuring organic cotton linings, Evolve45's multi-hued/eco-luxe bag brand: bags are made of leather that is tanned with natural tannin extracts to create the unique and easily recognizable satin finish that vegetable tanned leather is known for.   Found in bark, leaves, roots or fruit, the natural tannin extracts (namely chestnut- and quebracho tree-) make the vegetable-tanned leather unique and easily distinguishable from leather tanned using other methods.

I'll be hosting an awesome giveaway from Evolve45 at any moment, so stay tuned!

Interview with Stefanie Kunkman from Steffy's Pros and Cons

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m sponsoring Steffy’s Pros and Cons for the month of July [my link's on the left side of her page].  It feels so great to be collaborating with one of my favorite bloggers.  I wanted to know more about her style and blog, so I interviewed her and I’m sharing it with my readers.  Hope you enjoy it…

What was your very first motivation to start blogging?
I started to blog originally back in the days of live-journal. Steffy's Pros and Cons was originally a personal little diary where I would write and share pictures but after browsing fashion blogs for a little bit I decided to change its direction!

Why Steffy’s Pros and Cons?
As mentioned above, Steffy's Pros and Cons was originally more personal (the older entries have been deleted). I started it after a big breakup, and would write my "pros" and "cons" of each day to try and see the bright side of life!  So... the name stems from that. I still see it as a place to document my ups, downs and everything in between!

Who is your biggest inspiration?
Other bloggers of course! I specifically adore the styles of Flashes of Style and Fancy Treehouse. I also love Twiggy (but who doesn't) and Edie Sedgwick!

How would you describe your style?
I would describe it as vintage inspired and extremely girly. Anything polka dots is a go!

How is fashion lifestyle from where you are living right now?
Fashion goes two ways in Miami. You're either "runaway chic" and you love all of the high-end brands or you're thrifty like me. I think thrifty is becoming more "in." I am not ashamed of waiting at 9am outside of thrift stores with all the miami crackheads!

What do you want to achieve with your blog?
I want to network of course, meet like minded individuals who have the same interests as me, share with the world ways to dress cute but affordable but most of all get my foot in the door of the fashion world. I am returning to fashion school this month, and would love to either work as a merchandiser or a buyer and eventually own my own vintage shop (in store.. i already have my online shop Tea and Tulips). I think this is a step in the right direction!

What recommendations would you give my readers and fashion bloggers to have a successful blog?
I say keep your content true to yourself, post original content and make sure your images are of good quality. All of my favorite blogs have great photographs!
