Polen Issues

Happy Monday fashionistas!

Are you a Spring lover? Seasons do not represent a significant change in weather or nature in my country, but I have a little problem with Spring: allergies. I'm allergic to polen, fungus and dust. My eyes get puffy/watery and my face looks swollen in the mornings. But you know what? Going through this process for 28 years now, makes me just embrace it and enjoy what surrounds me. These pictures were taken in my mom's backyard. My father and brother are gardening enthusiasts and like to sow exotic flowers and spices for cooking. I moved from home five months ago and I remember that I rarely visited the backyard. Now I know that I was missing a lot!

Today I'm styling a white skater skirt, a denim top and a yellow statement necklace. I love to style any black or white piece because it is so easy. I especially love white. Why? It brightens up any look with its clean /fresh vibe. Gatsby has a variety of denim tops and chunky necklaces, so I went ahead and created the perfect Spring-dinner to Summer-night-vacation transition look. Gotta pay attention to summer, since is getting closer... finally!

Walking down the street

Hey bloggers & readers!
Hope you had an awesome & stylish Mother's Day :)

Today I'm gonna take you on a photo tour of my neighborhood. I'm currently living in Santurce: a sector of San Juan, Puerto Rico.  In my opinion, this is the place to be. Street art, good music, local culinary, small business and cultural activities happening all the time. Many young people are moving here and are building the "new Santurce", just like"the new Brooklyn" in New York City: very boho, very artsy and... fashion statements everywhere!

I saw this bared back/halter bodysuit at [ Gatsby's website ] and instantly fell in love with it. How to turn such a low-cut/sexy back into a boho look for Santurce streets on a Sunday afternoon? Here's the story:

How do you like to dress to take

RUSH days are FUN days

Hi readers! How was your weekend?

It was a hot one here in Puerto Rico!
Perfect to go for a walk outside, after a short yoga session, a brunch and a cup of coffee... a big one.

My favorite day of the week is Saturday, but they are usually spent solving many personal things and then going out with friends at night. Saturday = RUSH day. That means that choosing an outfit to go out on a Saturday noon needs to be comfortable.

Can I wear a pair of shorts and sheer top without looking like I'm about to hit the beach? Of course!
Here's how I style the casual-chic look!
