Shoe Craving Attack

I'm the type of girl who realizes that needs to go shopping when is getting dressed in the morning and finds herself in a middle of a crisis when she can't combine the right pieces.  For example: this morning.  Today I'm wearing a black blouse with creme pants and... red shoes?  Yup.  I couldn't find any other pair to wear today.  On my way to work, I realized I need new work shoes.   This pair needs to have a neutral color, so it can be combined with ANY outfit. That would make my mornings way easier!

So, I decided to enter my favorite shoe site: ShoeDazzle.  It's weird to say that days ago I entered and didn't liked any of the shoes on my list.  Today I fell in love with every single one of them.  Us girls are weird, right?  Or is this only a shoe craving attack?
These are my cravings right now:

Can this get any more neutral?  I mean, creme matches anything and nude colors are trend-ish!  Plus the shape of this pair is so unique and cute, even though I'm looking for a fatter heel, this is a great option.

COMFY.  That was the first word that came to my mind when I saw this pair.  BUT, they are not that neutral.  I also could use these shoes to go shopping or a casual date.

Now I'm having a dilemma.  Which one should I choose???

Winner will be announced tonight, so hurry up!

Layering Old Necklaces

I love little necklace chains and I have lots of them.  I also love how layered necklaces look, cause I could use all of my favorites at the same time.  I was thinking on going shopping for different sizes of chains, but then I realized I can transform the ones I already had.

Here's a little tutorial on how to layer the necklaces you already have.

1. Line up all the chains you have to see which ones are similar.

2. Select the ones you want to reduce and use a small scissor to cut the part you don't want.

3. Paste the rest with tweezers and transform similar chains into different shapes.

4. Put some charms on the new chains.

5. Layer as much necklaces as you want.

Going-To-The-Movies-Outfit

Last Saturday I went to see Midnight In Paris, starring my favorite actress: Rachel McAdams.  The movie was fun, retro and kind of crazy, but in a good way.  I wore what I call a 'going-to-the-movies-outfit'.  A pair of comfy jeans, a simple t-shirt and a cardigan can make it easier to stay seated in a chair for two or three hours.

A few things made me a little bit irritable, cause my hair was soooo frizzy, it was really hot outside and we had some technical problems with my new camera.  We haven't used it at night, so we didn't knew what the best feature was for darkness.  Finally we got some good, but not high quality shots.  I promise next time I'll do my homework and really get to know how my camera works.

Shiny Like The Sun

I prefer silver than gold, except on nails.  My mother bought a nail polish on Aldo, weird isn't it?  Aldo is a shoe/bag store!  But I thought the color was perfect for summer, so I borrowed it.  My plans were to wear it on the beach with a big fashion hat this weekend, but it was cloudy and nobody wanted to go.  Well, maybe next one.

Here's the result of my golden/ready to hit the beach nails:

Another Week Behind

This week: stressful days.  So happy it's over!
Between oral informs at college and long to-do-lists at work, I finally got a new computer on my desk.  The screen is bigger than the T.V. I have in my room and it's waaaay faster than the other one.  So glad I don't have to spend hours sending one single e-mail.

Dry Shampoo Review

Sometimes I don't even have time to look at myself in the mirror.  I'm currently working full-time, finishing my master degree and since April I'm addicted to this blogging thing.  That's why I decided to try a dry shampoo for those days in which I got home at 10:00p.m. with no other desire than taking a simple bath and going straight to bed.  It's summer and it's hot, so your hair can get greasy in just one entire day.  I don't like pony tales that much, so I thought this dry shampoo idea that Lauren Conrad talks about in her book Style was an awesome idea.

I ordered the Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk via Amazon.comAfter reading a few reviews on other brands, I thought this was the most balanced on good/bad critics. When I first applied it, was like spraying baby powder on your hair, only it disappears when you touch it.  The result was great!  Hair looks cleaner and the smell is kind of refreshing.  I recommend this product to any girl that suffers from 'rush' (like me), or any other girl that has greasy hair.  I think it's healthier if you don't wash your hair daily, cause it could get dry or dull.  Dry shampoo is the solution.

    Roof Afternoon

I wanted to try my new camera, so I started at my house's roof & backyard with my bf and his chihuahua: Snoopy.  I forgot my earrings on the first shots and I was really mad about that, cause I would never leave my house without them.  It was really hot, so I finally felt the summer heat!  It was also windy, so there were a lot of messy hair pictures, but I loved them cause they seem so natural.  We discovered lots of mode features and took approximately 130 photos, so  I'm only sharing a few of them...

Ashton & Alessandra At Sao Paulo Fashion Week

This week was the Sao Paulo Fashion Week at Brazil.  Ashton Kutcher was back on the runway after many years without modeling.  He was accompanied by the Brazilian and Victoria's Secret model:  Alessandra Ambrosio.

The surprise of the show was the mysterious way in which Ashton left Alessandra walking alone in the runway and disappeared from everybody's view (see video).  But it doesn't matter, right?  We know he's just not that serious about things. I think he still knows how to rock the catwalk, cause he looked amazingly gorgeous!

    Another Week Behind

This week: Success week.  One of them was reaching the one hundred followers on both Google & Facebook, so expect the giveaway soon... YAY!  The other one was feeling officially halfway on my PR Campaign class at college, one month left to finish!  I'm so happy and grateful.  It was a very nice week, but I'm sad to say the rain hasn't stopped yet.  This is the darkest summer ever!!!

    Let It Air Dry

It doesn't matter if you have straight, wavy or curly hair, it's summer and it looks hotter air dry.  Not only because it saves you time and let your arms rest from the blower and flat iron, but it lets your natural hair show.  Some people may think it's a low maintenance look, but if you know how to use it, it'll look totally fashion and bohemian.

    WAYS TO USE AIR DRY:

     1. The Little Braid
Most of my Fridays are "Air Dry/Braid Day".  The night before I just wash it, apply an anti-frizz and leave it alone.  On Friday morning I apply a VERY LITTLE amount of mousse (make sure it looks like you don't have any mousse at all), and do a little braid on the front/left side.

    My Friday look:

    2. The Hippie

    3. The Messy Ponytail

    Air Dry Rules
    - Never make a pony tale with wet hair.
    - Don't go to bed with wet hair, it will be a big mess.
     - Don't play with it cause it could get frizzy.
    - Use soft makeup like nude lips, rose blush & light shade.
