Dreaming of a True Autumn

Dreaming of a True Fall

I was born on winter: March 11. Only ten days away from the first day of spring. I live in a country where the whole year is summer. My favorite season of them all is fall
Ironic how none of these facts click!

In my opinion, the perfect weather is the high 60's. Why? Because it lets you play with different styles, layers and accessories. I adore oversized sweaters and using scarfs as the signature accessory. This look is a wish my heart makes because I could never wear this set on 86 degrees.

Enjoy autumn!

The $7.80 Jeans!

The $7.80 Jeans!

Have you heard about the $7.80 jeans from Forever 21? I have them all: royal blue, grey and navy blue. They are not the best quality jeans, but come on, three pairs of jeans for $23.40? I think that's a deal! They are comfortable, low-rise, dark and easy to combine

Let's face it, genuine jeans are not comfortable at all, since they are made of true denim material. They may look amazing (they really do), but they feel stiff and for the people who lives in cold weather, authentic jeans get reaaaally cold.

Today I'm sharing ideas on how to style and make these jeans look totally expensive. This is my very own/personal taste and, as you can see, I like to wear skinny jeans with oversized tops.

Which look is your favorite?

New York City Way

New York Visit 2013

This is the 4th year in a row in which I take some days to visit the enchanting streets of NYC. Every year I feel the urge to visit my second home, at least for a weekend, and that's exactly what I'll do next month!

I don't even feel like a tourist anymore, I feel like a resident that comes a goes (sadly). That's why my style for the cold weather in the city is very different from the one I used to wear four years ago... very different.

This is one of the outfits I'll be wearing, but I haven't decided if it'll look better at day or night.

What do you think?

The Bag That I didn't Make Mine

As you already know, I went shopping a few times during my trip to Spain last month.  I bought some stuff from H&M and Mango.  The prices from Zara and Mango really surprised me, as in USA stores, clothes are not as cheap as 7 or 10 = $9 or $12.99.  That's right, I spent 45€ = $58.47 for three blouses and a cute clutch at Mango.  Yes, that would've cost me only one blouse here!  Nothing to regret about that shopping, except for one thing: the bag I didn't make mine

I fell completely in love with the bag on the picture above.  Only 55€ = $72.  Every single detail captivated me!  I try it on me, I touched it, I smelled it, but I didn't bought it!!!  Reasons?  Not enough space on my luggage, the rest of the day ahead in Bilbao to spend it carrying a medium-size bag and not sure about what I was going to find later, so I needed to safe some money.  Big mistake!  Now I'll have to live with that for the rest of my life, cause I'm 8 hours away from Spain!  At least I took a picture of it.

Are you done with the Christmas shopping?
