Trend-ish Icon of December: Anne Hathaway

I did not used to see Anne Hathaway as a fashion icon.  Even though her looks in the movie The Devil Wears Prada were so chic and classy, for me, her real-life-style was just very normal.  Recently, my opinion has really changed.  Since Anne chopped her hair and got this cute pixie look, it makes any outfit of hers look glamorous.  Her new haircut accentuates her dense eyebrows, her full lips and her gorgeous face shape.  This American actress has highly developed into a stylish/sophisticated/glorious fashion icon and she is, of course, the perfect trend-ish icon for this month!

Trend-ish Icon of August: Vanessa Hudgens

 So yeah, I'm a HUGE fan of Vanessa's style and I just can't believe I haven't done an article for her before.  I follow her Facebook page and I think she's just so down-to-earth and funny.  She's not scared of changing her looks: long waves, cute bob, pixie and even blonde in her latest movie (Spring Breakers).  She really inspires me, because I know I can wear whatever she wears.  We kind of have the same hair texture & color and we both have VERY petite bodies. This California girl has a simple/cute style and is the perfect trend-ish icon for this month.

2012 MTV Movie Awards: Peplums & Fun Prints

I'm a loyal spectator of the MTV Awards, both movies and music.  I got really excited when they announce the date.  I like their ceremonies because they are more casual & fun than others.  The same happens with their red carpets.  Celebrities don't show up with super-expensive gowns and we can see a little more about their personal taste.  This year, the strong trends were peplum and rare prints/textures.  Here's a recap of my favorites!

1. Jessica Biel 

Even though I don't love the sleeves, the hair, the dress color and shoes are adorable!

 2. Charlize Theron

Gorgeous in red peplum!

 3. Elizabeth Banks

She looked so different and daring.  I'm a big fan of red carpet risks.

 

4. Julianne Hough

This peplum dress is so distinct from the ones you see at stores.

 5. Emma Watson

She looked young, fresh and comfortable in her printed dress.

 6. Emma Stone

This time she didn't impressed me at all, but OMG... look at those shoes!!!

 7. Mila Kunis

I think this dress is screaming out lout: summer-night-out!

Trend-ish icon of May: Mila Kunis

The hot summer is approaching, so I had to pick a hot Trend-ish. icon for this month.  Who else?  Mila Kunis is the good girl gone bad. Remember Jackie?  The girl next door in That 70's Show?  Well, that's not her anymore.  Somehow she transformed into a bad-ass/outgoing/self-secure beauty.  Did you watched Friends with Benefits?  Watching that movie was when I realized how talented Mila is, how big her eyes are and how hot is Justin Timberlake... (I already knew that).  One of the things I like most about this 28-year-old woman is the edginess in her photo-shoots, besides she's my favorite actress.  Mila is unique, funny, mysterious and the perfect Trend-ish. icon for May.

Trend-ish icon of March: Rachel Bilson

March is special because it's my birthday. 

That's why I chose a very special icon:  Rachel Bilson.  Rachel and I have some stuff in common.  Like me, she has a petite body (only 5'2"), dark/wavy hair, loves sunglasses and has a very classy style with lots of neutral colors, tights and simple pieces.  You may kill me for this, but for me she is a modern Audrey Hepburn.  That means I'm a HUGE fan.  I would wear every single outfit of hers.  She's just so chic and the perfect Trend-ish icon for my favorite month!
