Purple Deep

Recently, I'm not buying any new nail polish, I'm just rediscovering old ones in my nail-stuff basket.  For some reason I just thought this nail polish it was kinda fall-ish.  Are you with me?  It is a deep/dark purple that I think would give a pop of color to any dark green, gray or brown outfit.  I personally love it and think is a great choice for this season!
What do you think?

Outfit: Nude Neutrals

Do you prefer pants or skirt for work?
I like pants. I feel like I would only use a skirt or dress at work because is a special occasion.  I found this cute and subtle dress the other day while shopping and automatically fell in love with the fabric and shape.  While trying it at the fitting room, I looked at myself in the mirror and realized it was made especially for me.  It fits my body perfectly and is so comfortable!

I bought it and then... then comes my other dilemma: I can't find the right occasion to wear it because is way too cute to use for just one normal/common day at work.  But then I changed my mind and wore it an average Friday and I finally realized another thing:  if you wear a special outfit on a normal day, then the day will no longer be normal... it will be outstanding because of how you feel in that special clothing.

If you really know me, then you should know I'm not really into sparkly pieces.  BUT, I really like this sequin trend right now.  SO, I would love to wear one sparkly cardigan or any other sparkly for this Fall.

COMMENT ON MY BLOG:
This week was definitely Bessie's comment for [ this post ] !!!!
She is one of the most loyal readers I have and this specific comment was so adorable.
From the compliment to my mother, to her quick answer for questions I made on her page and her sweet words at the end, she's just the best.
If you have some time, go check out her AMAZING blog @ Bravoe Runway.

Your mom is beautiful, I can see where you got our looks from! You both looked stunning for the event and I love how you used Isla's look as your inspiration, ruffles look great on you! OK so leather shorts, these are a lot of fun! 1. you can try menswear inspiration with an oxford shirt and a vest. 2. you could try a jacket like mine today with leather shorts, that's an edgy rocker chic look. 3. blazer with sequins tank 4. fur vest or short jacket So there you have it, 4 fun ideas w/leather shorts :) Your comments always make me smile, Teresa I feel so fortunate to have a reader as genuine and sincere like you! :)

Inspiration: Boho-Casual

So yes, most of the bloggers I follow are now posting about all their cute Fall outfits, layering pieces and wearing cute tights with leather stuff. Well, I can't. The weather is so hot right now at the Caribbean, that I still HAVE to use summer clothing. So this time I was inspired by one of my favorite looks: boho-chic. My solution is to take advantage of the hot weather and use fall colors while staying fresh and comfortable!

Outfit: Fashion's Night Out

I wore this navy-color dress for the Puerto Rico High Fashion WeekI bought it on March for my birthday party and was inspired by Rebecca's outfit from the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic.  The look is all about lots of ruffles with a bold belt.  This dress is so comfortable/girly/flirty and the best part about mine are the pockets on the sides.  Also, it was a smart choice, since Rebecca's dress was worth $thousands while mine was just $65 at Lu by Lolita.  I'm featuring my mom's outfit too, cause I loved her pleaded dress and cute shoes!

Puerto Rico High Fashion Week: Runway Madness

Okay, okay... I couldn't make it to the New York Fashion Week, but last Saturday I was invited to the last day of the Puerto Rico High Fashion Week at Puerto Rico Convention Center!  I  saw the collections from fashion designers José Raul, Magalis García and Jaer Cabán.

If I had to summarize that fashion show in three words, I would say: Spainiard, African and Indian (the three roots to our blood).  I ended up with so many good pictures that I had to split them in two posts.  Today I'm gonna let the pictures from the catwalk tell the story and tomorrow we'll talk about the outfit... deal?

José Raúl: African Hotness

Magali G.: Spaniard Elegance

Jaer C.: Indian Fire

Have an amazing week lovelies!
