Outfit: Neon Fest

Day #2 of my birthday weekend started with my boyfriend, best friends, some margaritas and guacamole @ 9:00p.m.  Can a birthday night get any better than that?  YES!  It seems like I wasn't the only one thinking in color-blocking, since all of my girlfriends arrived with different colorful outfits.  We looked like a Crayola box (see last photos).  I had so much fun and felt so comfortable in my outfit, even though I told you I'm not a fan of the rainbow thing a few days ago.  I'm sharing some of my favorite photos...

Outfit: Vegas at Work

So I'm back from my spectacular birthday weekend.  I have lots of pictures, but I'm starting with day #1: Vegas Friday at Work.  The girls surprised me with a Vegas theme birthday, a very cute cake and a gift card from SEPHORA!!!  Tomorrow I'm gonna show you everything from day #2: Color-Blocking Saturday Night Out!

Guest Review: Crème Gel Eye Liner by Revlon

The retro 50's eye makeup is ideal for any occasion, as it has a romantic air while it has a flirtatious side. You can play with the width of the line and that gives you the opportunity to determine how dramatic the look will be. After testing various liquid eyeliners, I found this Crème Gel Eye Liner by Revlon. From the moment I used it, I fell in love with the product.

Pros
cheap [ $9.99 ] / waterproof / long-lasting / brings the brush / variety of colors
Cons
none so far.

Trend-ish icon of March: Rachel Bilson

March is special because it's my birthday.
That's why I chose a very special icon:  Rachel BilsonRachel and I have some stuff in common.  Like me, she has a petite body (only 5'2"), dark/wavy hair, loves sunglasses and has a very classy style with lots of neutral colors, tights and simple pieces.  You may kill me for this, but for me she is a modern Audrey Hepburn.  That means I'm a HUGE fan.  I would wear every single outfit of hers.  She's just so chic and the perfect Trend-ish icon for my favorite month!

Fresh Tangerine

What's your favorite fruit?  Mine is tangerine.  The smell, the sweet/sour taste, the freshness and It's even better when is cold from the fridge.  I've read in some fashion magazines that one of the color trends for this season is tangerine... I couldn't be happier about that!
Last week I was about to do my pedi/mani with one of my favorites nail polishes: Turquoise & caicos by Essie.  That's when I saw my mom's orange nails and I screamed: "WHERE IS THAT NEW NAIL POLISH?!".  The brand is L'ORÉAL and the name is L'orange 410.  I had to borrow it from her and try it.  It is one of those nail polishes that's so easy to apply because the texture is so creamy and perfect.  It is so resistant that the following pictures were taken three days after the manicure and they still look like new.

Inspiration: Color-Blocking Birthday

Hello March!  My favorite month... why?
BIRTHDAY GIRL! [ March 11 ]
We all want to look our best at birthday night, right? I'm having a little dilemma here, cause I'm a very classy girl when it comes to outfits.  I like black, white, beige or gray.  I've never color-blocked before, but I think this is the perfect occasion: birthday = happy/bright/bold.  If you like color-blocking, I need your help putting this puzzle together.  Nothing in the images are specifically the the things I bought, but my skirt has the exact same color than the one below.

As you can see, I already have the bright-orange skirt, the turquoise wedges and the necklace.  I'm thinking of combining it with a white top and turquoise clutch.

*Now you tell me which top would you use with the things I already have: white, pink or turquoise?

*Which color would you use for the purse?
